According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), more than 6.8 million doses of the Johnson & Johnson (Janssen) vaccine have been administered in the U.S. as of April 12. The CDC and Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in a joint statement on Tuesday, April 13, recommended a pause in the use of Johnson & Johnson's (J&J's) single-dose COVID-19 vaccine out of an abundance of caution.
